... I think some Super Mario Bros. fans don't even realize how good they have it.

This pretty much sums up what I've been thinking throughout this Gen... When I see comments like "newer instalments will never surpass the best older games" and I'm like, "does this lad even know what he's talking about???" And that was when I played NSMBWii when it came out. O.o

Even I reckon that NSMBWii beat SMB3 (wich is better than SMW in my opinion) when played it.

I was never a huge Super Mario World fan, even back in the day. For me, DKC was what SMW should have been. SMB3 was far more groundbreaking. SMW brought some nice improvements, but it was very much like NSMBU to NSMBW... mildly improved visuals and refinements, but nothing awe-inspiring.

Hm... what does this remind me of?... Oh yeah! Those Pokemon Fans that cling onto their Gen 1 games like it's their baby! It just seems that most people like to where the Nostalgia Shades these days. It's kind of sad, but they're just ruining it for themselves really.

No try to do the same for SMB 3

You should have ignored the fact that Super Mario Bros: Lost Levels is included. That game alone destroy every single modern (and old) mario game in terms of challenge and fun.

I know, they don't make them as they used to!

As much as I love SMW, I think it definitely gets more credit than it deserves...
The DKC games are the SNES platformers that should go down as the very best...
2 and 3 in particular are among my favorite games ever...

Have a nice day...

Aw yeah haha.

Nice thread, Rol. I'd love to see a Pokémon episode in the future. "New Pokémon designs look terrible." -- picture of Eggxecute.

Red and Blue have not aged very well.

Blimey, I can't believe I forgotten about that! Points for bringing that up, lad! ;)

Even some of the youtubers pointed that out. lol

Pokemon sucked after it went 3D. That's undeniable.

Anyway I look forward to more of these threads.
