Personally i spent more hours on f-zero gx then any other game on gamecube apart from metroid prime and resi 4, I was totally addicted and wanted to unlock everthing in the game which took ages mastering each track and story mission. I must have clocked in excess of 150 hours but i won every master cup with every vehicle and completed story mode on all difficulties. I never got bored and on it was technically flawless with a steady framerate and the prettiest graphics on gamecube. This series need to be resurrected on wii u it would be amazing.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Please be true. I loved this series on the N64 and GBA. It will be nice to have an exclusive arcade racer on Wii U that ain't Mario Kart

I agree with this.....but if Nintendo said "Hey, might as well turn this into F-Zero. We'll give you the assets and support, just make it awesome" I would be 100% okay with that. Maybe the FAST Racing League game will be used to gauge interest in that type of racer that doesn't exactly do many new things gameplay-wise. I think that is the main issue keeping Nintendo from making a new one of those (and Star Fox), they don't like to release iterative sequels, but they have been known to do so on occasion.

Miyamoto disagreed about a new F-zero game, so i was skeptical, but the tweet looks promising.

Sounds great. Can't wait to play a new F-Zero after 10 years since GX released. Hopefully they have already been working on it for some time.

Maybe Nintendo has not released an F Zero title in the last decade because they just had no Hardware that could deliver a better F Zero than F Zero GX for the GC.
