well i'm pretty much done with my ps3 at this point, this gen has gone far to long, anyways i decided to game on my ps2 again and realised i have 0 jrpg's for it :(

 

from the past week i have gotten

finalfantasy xii

valkyrie profile 2

persona 4

dragon quest 8

what am i missing? :)

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES
Shadow Hearts: Covenant
Kingdom Hearts II
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance
Dark Cloud 2
Suikoden III
Final Fantasy X
Grandia II
Rogue Galaxy

 

My favorites franchises: Kingdom Hearts, Dark Cloud, Persona, Grandia, Final Fantasy and Suikoden.

Xenosaga 1 : great
Xenosaga 2 : meh
Xenosaga 3 : exellent (for me it even beats FFX)



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

Xenogears is the greatest RPG I've ever played even beating FF6  for me

You should try Persona 3 and one of those Shin Megami Tensei games (Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga) and the Xenosaga games (episodes I-III)
You should try to play Kingdom Hearts II, too

I always wanted to play Dragon Quest 8 but I could never find it anywhere. I'm gonna cry :(

FF6 is the best for me but Xenogears have a place in my heart... it is the best combat system together with Grandia... I can't say which game I love more.

It is in my TOP10 JRPG all the time

Xenogears is so flipping hard for me, i'm stuck rescuing that girl... impossible

anyways thanks for the suggestions, i'll avoid kingdomhearts & finalfantasy x/x-2 though, the hd remasters are just about to come out C:
