Where I live, it's generally just "drink" or sometimes "soft drink". You might hear "soda" occasionally but never "pop".

If your going to make the claim a brand has such a high mindshare that people call it by it's brand and it's not a regional thing you better have data to back it up. Unfortunatley, the data was there to see.

Where I live (Central Florida) people say they want a "Coke" when they want a "Coke."
