i can't believe how much time you put in reading all that stuff but when i asked you why you aren't a pc gamer since you care so much about graphics you said something like "i don't want to put so much time in it with all the drivers and stuff". seriously, even 10% of the time you use to read all the tech stuff would be enough to handle all the problems you can have as pc gamer! you talk about great graphics all the time but don't take advantage of the systems which have them.

please start to be a pc gamer lol

Well I was for some period a author of articles about GPU Architectures in a game magazine here in Brazil... so I received a lot of new products to test and make the articles and after that I sent them go back to the companies... I received a lot of GPU from nVidia and AMD before the release of the products for review.

That was in 2005-2007 I guess... when the top GPU was the nVidia "Tesla" GTX 280... I was a active user in the ExtremeSystems too... so I was a high enthusiastic PC gamer tech but I didn't played the games just make bechs and everything else.

So all the time I spent done that makes me fell unrealized... so I moved forward to just wrote articles about the "games" itself like news and reviews... so after this time I started to enjoy the games again and naturally my articles started to talk more about consoles games than PC games.

Today I'm just a PC gamer and I have time to everything in my life... work, family, girlfriend, TV series, movies, books, mangas, sports, etc... I did enjoy the time I did these articles but I think it is not my way to relate with games... I like to play games in hard and get 100% of it without compromises.

In 2006 I started to frequent more game specifics forums than PC tech forums... so I found VGCs and others sites (GAF) and today I realized that PC gamers was a waste of time in my life... it is a hobby that require time, money and dedication... and I just want to play my games and talk about them.

Before that I created some simple games for funny... that when I entered in university back in 2000 but that is another story

Edit - Fixed the Tesla was the GTX 280.

Ah yes, this was a top dog back in the day.

99 bucks with free shipping today - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130753&IsVirtualParent=1

And probably not worth 99 bucks today considering a GTX 650 Ti beats it in everything  and anything :)

I did work with Fermi too... see one of my latest performance sheets (the last one I can find in my backup)... look in the middle the logo of the site I was a contributor and @ethomaz below.

lol I forget to say I did some ROM translates from English to Portuguese for some SNES and PS1 games in 2000-2003 (eg. FFVI I revised, Secret of Mana I helped to translated, Mega Man X I translated myself, Castlevania I stopped in the middle, and some other works)... hobby only.
