One closer than VGC or any of the analysts. Curious to see the others

These were your predictions? Not bad on 360.

Xbox 360 continues to hold the number one spot in the U.S., selling more units in March than any other console; marking the 27th consecutive month as the best-selling console in the U.S.

March 2013 NPD highlights:
· Xbox 360 sold 261,000 units in March, maintaining the number-one console spot in the U.S. (Source: NPD Group, March 2013)

· Total retail spend on the Xbox 360 platform in March reached $402 million, (hardware, software and accessories), the most for any console in the U.S. (Source: NPD Group, March 2013)

· During the month of March, Xbox 360 held six of the top 10 console game titles including: “Bioshock Infinite,” “NBA 2K13,” “Gears of War: Judgment,” “Tomb Raider,” “The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct” and “Call of Duty: Black Ops II.” (Source: NPD Group, March 2013)

Entertainment experiences on Xbox LIVE continue to grow as Xbox introduced its newest app this week, Flixster. The service, available for Xbox LIVE subscribers in the U.S., is one of the most popular apps for movies, allowing users to buy and rent thousands of titles, check out local theater show times and access movie scores from Rotten Tomatoes. And, Xbox Tournaments with Virgin Gaming launched earlier this month exclusively on Xbox LIVE, bringing gamers free-to-enter gaming tournaments for popular games including “EA SPORTS™ FIFA 13,” “NBA 2K13,” “EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 13” and “EA SPORTS™ NHL® 13,” with many more titles to come.

The fact Microsoft didn't show % this time is because PS3 must be close behind.

Any other info?

It should progressively show up. In 15 minutes the combined chart should come out and then Nintendo will release their report and then we'll hopefully get more info from people on NeoGaf.

Yeah, I have a feeling PS3 will be pretty close too.

I hope all of your other predictions are a bit on the low side. :P Wii U being overtracked would be pretty lousy. 3DS being down 60k despite having an additional week this month would be awful as well.

Really though -- why is the report through April 6? Shouldn't it end at March 30? The quarter is 13 weeks... this makes their first three months cover 14.

No 40% figure could mean anything, could be 39.9% for all we know, if Sony or Ninty did so great they should release figures

Surprise surprise. They didn't mention how it outsold all the competition combined this time so PS3 must have given it a run for its money this month.

lol, Nintendo is certainly not going to release Wii U figures. Best we can hope for is something like "Wii U increased by X% over last month" or some numbers from gaf.
