Two new PlayStation 3 bundles could be making their way to North America soon. Both products, which were discovered on Newegg, are expected within the next couple of months.

Newegg first lists the “Sony PS3 500GB Legacy HW Bundle (CECH-4001C) – GT5+Infamous 2″. This is priced at $299.99 and is due out on May 6, supposedly.

The retailer also mentions the “SONY PS3 250GB HW (CECH-4001B) – PS Plus 1-Year Trial – US/CAN” for a June 9 launch. Consumers will be able to purchase the bundle for $249.99.

with games and the biggest hdd. you can also buy one without games and only 250gb or something and since ps4 won't play ps3 games you have to buy a ps3 if you want to play those games. and yes there are still people who couldn't afford a console the last years (university or whyever) and have only money now.

not to talk about those who want to replace their old ps3 because it's slowly dying or something. they can sell their old ps3 on ebay with all the games they don't need anymore and buy a new ps3 with that money. better as waiting until it doesn't work anymore.

PS360 will take big drops in price this year as their successor's release. To buy a new one or replacement now is absolutely fucking stupid as stupid gets... unless you're paying around $150 or less with games.

Not really. Some people only want to get a console after its been out for at least a year or two. They want to see value in the purchase. It's still at least 6 months away from launch.

In the mean time people have friends playing online on the old system and a backlog of great games.
