Are not people saying they buying Nintendo console only for playing Nintendo games? Why not buying them then.
Also, dying console - console with no games => more people will buy big AAA Nintendo title.

Your definiton is meaningless. Taken at its own terms, there is no game that is not niche: you throw words like "everyone" around far too carelessly. Also, the Call of Duty games sell pretty steadily, and to largely the same userbase and demographic. Congratulations, it is now "niche," because it only sells to its "fans."
Also, Mario now has no fans. Well played!
But seriously, your first statement was asinine to the extreme. No offense.

I just said Mario is for everyone (fans included)... Metroid not... my girlfriend plays Mario but she is not a fan.
Zelda was never a big frachise like the guys talk here... Zelda is even small than recente franchises like Gears and Uncharted.
It is a niche game like the most in the market... not massive like Mario, CoD, Pokémon, etc.

So your girlfriend determines what's nice and what isn't? =^/ Just teasing (mostly).
Look, you're right that Zelda isn't currently an 800-pound gorilla, like it's often made out to be online. But there are more positions on the scale than "niche" and "Huge Franchise." I'm not going to draw a bright-line rule out of thin air here, but once you've consistently sold a whole bunch of millions per release, you stop being "niche." The series doesn't even sell steadily: if it's only selling to its fans, they've proven to be a remarkably fickle bunch.
