Yeah, of course it is subjective. I played some TP and I'd say it is 6-6.5/10 game. Definitely not as good as Fable games, but I am sure someone likes it.

Controls on TP Wii were just awful. Fable has always been fine with controls.

Re-read your post, you are doesn't specify it is Zelda 1 from NES. And i'm can not read minds from random peoples on internet.

So comparing 0.16 to 0.9 million is equally bad? It just shows that Fable isn't as popular and big. Cause even the Crossbow Training Spin-off sold more. Why don't you get tired? must be boring to get proven wrong by people time after time. BTW, time will tell which impact Fable 4 will have, but after 1 Million promises for every Fable i wouldn't get my hopes up. And btw i own both Fable: Lost Chapter's and Fable 2 and loved them, but saying this franchise is bigger then an on going series since the 80's is crazy.

Haha it's weird how two different people can have such different opinions about the same thing! I understand that not everyone will think TP is great, but that thing about the controls... That's something I just won't get =) My gf agrees with me that the controls in Fable 2 is pretty bad - and she's played that game way more than me - but then you come around and says its all fine and dandy. It's just a fun observation =) just goes to show that nothing in games are objective I guess.

it isn't good, never said this, i already said above that Twlight Princess porved you already wrong, it didn't do any damage to the brand.

When was Fable anywhere difficult? That's not the reason to play a Fable game, because of difficulty. I don't agree with your opinion about Fable 2.

 

Though as much as I love the Fable franchise (yeah, even 3 which was totally mediocre) The legend of Zelda is The legend of Zelda. Nothings beat playing through the Water Dungeon as a kid.

No one said fable was difficult. No fable has tested me as a gamer nor truly immersed me in its shitty story and badly fleshed out world.

Why OH WHY am I getting into this discussion again???!! I MUST be crazy... Just.... Just tihs ONE response, ok?! Just ONE!!

Damnit...

I don't think anyone is saying that Journey has hurt the Fable brand. They are arguing that if SS has hurt the Zelda brand (or any other low selling Zelda game for that matter) then, by logic, Journey must have hurt Fable as well. SS sold more than Journey; they both needed peripherals and had unusual play style mechanics in regards to the other entries in the series, so if SS hurt Zelda then Journey must have hurt Fable since SS did much better than Journey.

So, in conclusion; Journey didn't hurt Fable, and SS didn't hurt Zelda.
