Show me where I said this. You're as bad as huiii.

Clearly you don't understand the message you portray in your posts.
All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Dark Souls > Skyrim.

I say what I mean. You assume I meant importance when I did not. Points of fact from cited post:
Show me where I said that death is less or more important depending upon area...still waiting?
| dsgrue3 said: Lol wow, show me where I said we shouldn't care about the Middle East? I love when people put words in my mouth. That should really be a bannable offense - it's provocative and completely dishonest. Everyone has a "right" to complain, it's just the severity of the circumstances which differ. A nation with 1 bombing every decade will be more sympathetic toward such an event than a culture where a bomb explodes every other week. I don't care either tbh, just pointing out flawed logic. |
Bold: You said that carbombings are "normal" in the middle east and because of that the situation is different than in Boston. The word normal here clearly implies that it's nothing special and so not (or less) worth careing about... I'm sorry but people killing each other should not be considered normal.
Italics: so are you saying that people in a nation where bombings occure more often care less about losing people they love? cause when you put it like this it sounds that way (Note: i'm not putting words into your mouth i'm asking a question here).
I give you the point that everyone has a right to complain.
About the flawed logic part.
So tell me where the flaw is in thinking a problem occuring every week is a bigger issue and needs more urgent solving than the same problem maby happening oonce a decade.
Maby i was just understanding you wrong and you were just trying to say that to americans it may seem like bigger issue that stuff like this happens in their country... well because you know people are non-careing assholes for anything that does not threathen them directly (at least most and me included), then i'm sorry for the "should be bannable offense" of "putting words in your mouth" but your statment did read like that to me (and apparently PureDante).... so... try to work on your experession?

I said it was the norm because of the frequency of the event itself. The only implication was exactly that - frequency. Yourself and Dante love to extract information that isn't contained within the context of my statements as I've shown. When something occurs bi-weekly/weekly/daily is becomes expected. That isn't to say it isn't just as tragic, if not more so.
I'm saying in such a nation where this is part of every day life, the vast majority of citizens will simply become desensitized to it - and more so, the rest of the World. Bombings in the Middle East seem to be a nightly occurrance on the news, which is why each one isn't made into a huge deal by the media. This type of occurrance is so rare in the US that the media pounces on an opportunity to report it for days.
I was perfectly clear. Try not to assume, instead of being upset with something I never stated or implied.

Well i woudn't say perfecly clear since me and dante both seem to have missunderstoos.
But sice this is not worth arguing about and i seem to have read too much into your post, i apologize for jumping you.

People clearly ignored me.
And that's the end of that chapter...
