I've heard 86 were injured

A little clarification for some people (I lived in Boston for 6 years when I went to school).

*Today is a holiday in Massachusetts. Everyone gets it off of school, most people get it off of work. There is an early morning (10 AM) Red Sox game and the marathon happening. Boston is usually pretty happening on "Patriots' Day."

*As for the pic of the dude on the roof. Many, many buildings (my old building did) have "roof decks" for people to chill on. Many people who live on Boylston St. (close to where marathon ends) watch the event from their roof decks. Chilling, drinking beer, etc. Now, that dude may be a suspect (seems to be strolling casually when stuff is going off) but, just because he is on a roof is no indication of that.

That really sucks. It must be tough having to go through this. At least you two are safe.

A serial Killer could be, also. It would not be the first time one of these uses bombs to create panic.

i just finished making sure every one i know is okay i also glad that my sister didn't volunteer with her friend to work at the medical tents.

Apologies to any who may take offence but my friend did make me chuckle with a single one-liner:
