Nintendo provides great software. Each of the big 3 are unique, but for me, the offerings from Nintendo should not be missed by any gamer. It is a pity some people only see them for the 'cute kiddy' exterior in their games. Many of them are much more than that. I'm a Sony guy primarily, but I'd be first to admit my gaming would be hollow if I didn't have a Nintendo system to complement my Playstation.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Nintendo thinks in the fun factor first.

i actually think they care about polish more. there is a certain polish that they have in their games that is dam hard to find in other games. fun factor wise tho is all subjective tho cuz for me they're games fall flat

I think God of War is boring, what do you think about that?

lol

It took me this long to realize I really liked Nintendo games and didn't like some of the crap games that other people praise till the 7th moon.

lulz

But apart from pulling your leg, why did you come into a thread about learning to love Nintendo (thx to Galaxy) just to say that you learned to hate them as you grew older.

Let me ask you a question, do you think your tastes as you grew older became better? But what if they got worse? dun dun dun

The big question.

your hating also doesn't have anything to do with this thread, if you don't like nintendo you don't have to click on this....

I never really was a Nintendo fan, sure the NES was awesome but the console that defined me as a videogamer was the Mega Drive (Genesis for the uncultured brutes) and ever since I've had a sort of bias against Nintendo.

That said, I was on the fast track of getting out of gaming all together after the PS2. The Wii was exactly the console I needed to get pumped up again about games, so much that it had me go to the unprecedented step of buying a console on day one, and even more, from the same company as my previous console.

Nintendo cares about the right thing in gaming. I'm the kind of guy who gets turned off by GTA, but I'm sinking waaay too much time into Lego City. I'm a middle aged cubicle rat, I get enough aggression and angst in real life, keep it out of my gaming please!
