Thats the exact point, they are the 2nd  biggest manufacturer(only some 0.x% behind HP) and they are the only one out there of the big 5 that doesn't get mentioned in SvD article.

So it's a doom article in a Sweidsh newspaper?! Damn, Doom is really spreading...

So, is this old news and I haven't been paying attention, or isn't it interesting, or does no one care? It's weird though, people seem very fast to criticize Sony for selling their HQ's and Nintendo for... well, everything Nintendo does apparently dooms them ;)

I think they are shoveling too many windows versions in too little time. The fact is, windows 7 already does everything you need, as did Vista and after patches XP. Why is a windows 8 needed? The interface gets worse aswell.

i honestly can say Windows 7 was amazing. Windows 8, its too fucked up. its too complicated. and they always want to connect Xbox with PC's which is dumb as fuck. just make a site like Sony. Xbox.com. where you can log in look at friends and all the shit you would do on your console. no that's forbidden they need to make a whole new PC that does the same shit.

That already exists and has for years as a fully funtioning hub (way before the sony one) ... or am I missing something?

Thing is using Windows 8 on a touchscreen really is actually quite nice, I mean sure I have my probook from 2010 but when I want to just sit on the couch and just watch something on youtube or browse the web I just pull out my surface. It does what it is intended to do being a tablet.

As for win8 on PC I remain neutral on that, I really like it but I dont really hate it either

I've been following that windows stuff... and It really seems that people just don't care about that OS as much as they used to.
Who needs a laptop for internet browsing if they can just get a Tablet with android/iOs for all their needs.

I still have a windows PC for Videoediting and Adobe stuff. but everything else I can get elsewhere
