This doesn't confirm the name at all.

I would agree. It really just wouldn't be a meaningful name at all.

"LIVE" would be a good name (always-on, kinect-focused, all about dealing with living people, etc), though it might confuse consumers a little.

It would confuse them a lot, because that's what they're online service is called. Most people couldn't wrap their head around the Wii U. Somebody suggested here, that they should've called it Wii 2 or Nintendo U. He/She was right.  Don't underestimate how stupid some people are.

They don't have a lot of rooms to go by the way.

They can go the easy way, and call it 720, but I said above, it does not make sense, well besides, that's what everybody calling it anyway.

They can go to closer to other MS brands, and call it XBOX 8. But it's less than 360 which doesn't make sense, and the whole 8 brand is a just a flop as of right now.

They can go the Apple way, calling it XBOX, which would be one of their best options, but in this case they have to face a lot of stupid people.

And the best thing is to find a new name, like NextBox. Doesn't matter what it is, until it's catchy and people seem to recognize, that that's the next thing.

Heck, XBOX would be the best anyways. My co-workers still referring to my Vita, as "the new PSP."

Brolles' profile states that Watch Dogs is "work in progress for next generation consoles", specifically referencing "PS4/X720",

hey hey hey!!! and the wiiU version????

And that is exactly why it should be the XBOX 720. The name is stupid, but most consumers are too stupid to care. It's already a huge name and instantly everyone will know what it is. People confuse the Wii U as an add on but no one would make that mistake if it was called 720. It really is a stupid name. So stupid that it would be brilliant.

No way it will be called X720.

Xbox 720 makes as much sense as Xbox 3600.

well i like it, it makes sense, better than xboxu or 360u.
