Yeah, the holidays will be very interesting. With the Wii U finally getting some system sellers and the ancient PS360 getting almost way too many powerhouse games, I think the PS4/Nextbox might be in for a rocky start unless they have something amazing up their sleeves.

Yeah, I have to agree with you; next gen might be off on a rocky start with WiiU struggling and PS360 still around and kicking and still getting some great support. But surely PS720 must do better than Wii U in its first 6 months? Wii U had a great start, which I can't imagine PS720 can replicate (well, anything is possible), but they should drop as fast as Wii U did after the holidays... Right?

Well, it's coming in September I think, but I wonder how much it'll push console sales; GoWA and GoWJ and Tomb Raider did nothing for the PS360 numbers...

No. The consoles are selling way better VGC show.
The new GoW and Gears are not mainline games... the sales are good.

I think it all depends on software. On the one hand, they'll almost certainly have better third party support than the Wii U's... uh, nothing these past few months. On the other, if it's all stuff that's shared with the PS360 then getting people to upgrade just to play shinier versions of games that are also coming to the systems they already have is going to be a tough proposition.
E3 is the key!

e3 definitely where its at! They better show us some awesome PS720 games that WON'T be on PS360... I think that'll mainly be 1st party games; Sony already showed us some of them - and that might just be enough for people to buy the new versions instead...

Yeah, with the samller install base no way GTA5 on Wii U could ever match the PS360 sales, but it could probably reach 1m or more... Well worth a port!

It probably sold a lot less because it was poor ports... I actually like using the Wiimotes to shoot, but when the graphics and everything else is much better on other consoles people usually buy those versions... But GTA5 would look and run just as well on Wii U, so it would have the potantial to sell better.
