If I was a share holder I'd raise a stink about it. It's deceptive and only done to hide negative data that they don't want to show shareholders, but if you're accepting the equity from a share holder they have the right to know what the hell is going on.

It seems that even though Sony had one-off sales, they also had one-off expenses, like buying Olympus. Hopefully they'll be able to profit next FY without the sales.
