Sounds like the HD-DVD addon lol...

You can also hook it up to the Durango to play disc based 360 games through that. Interesting. Could be good for people who want a cheaper set top box and want to play the occasional 360 downloadable game. Then later if they buy a Durango they could interface it with that to have access to all 360 games. For people who don't care about BC then they don't worry about having to pay extra for the feature. If they do end up wanting it later they can pick up a mini! I was thinking about getting an Apple TV box myself, but this 360 mini could be a good alternative, especially if it has an attractive price. Then I'd have BC when I end up getting a Durango and wouldn't have to worry about my 360. I wonder if you can hook up the 360 HD-DVD drive to the 360 mini. ;-p Also the Durango not being required to always be online is great and as it should be. |
I still lol everytime I see you sig

Wrong thread? The article mentions nothing about Kinect2 except "..Kinect isn’t the primary focus"? |
I know what it says lol I just wanted to express my interest in this feature
Confusing, can't wait for may to get some clarity in all this.
Which one will have Kinect 2.0 bundled with it, or will it still be sold separately?
Does Durango do everything the xbox mini provides (apart from playing 360 games), or is it needed too for streaming movies and tv?
Since both will have a hdd, can they be used together or do they stay separated?
Can I plug my hd-dvd drive in one of them?
So many new questions...
Wow, now that is a rumor.
Great news for every xbox fan after all bad rumors.
Also, if it is true - Oyua pretty much doomed,

Kinect 2.0 will be Durango only.
Durango does everything the mini does, but if you want to play your physical copy 360 games you must have both.

BTW I thought I would point this little nugget out.
Microsoft’s delay in announcing these products from April goes more inline with not having a physical set of devices to show (among specification updates), which should be ready by May or June when this information is officially released.
So spec updates for the system to.

Does this mean that the nextbox itself wont have netflix etc capabilities?
I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.
The Durango will be able to do everything the Mini does and also have all the bells and whistles of a next gen gaming system. If you have a Durango you can do it all. The only thing you would need the Mini for is if you want to play your physical copy 360 games on your Durango.
The Mini is Roku pretty much, but it can download 360 and XBLA games.
