I was not aware, and in fact I thought it'd be out in June or something.

Probably me. Still tidying up with Etrian Odyssey IV though (everyone here bought that awesome game...right?), so it's unlikely to be a day one for me.

I'm also interested in Etrian Odyssey IV, but I never played any game in the series, do I have to have played the previous entries to understand the story or it has its own story?

Don't skip either mang. But if you like SMT IV hopefully you'll pick up all the other ones that released.

Well at launch.  Might try Devil Summoner later in the year.  Budget being the big factor atm.

I only have played the persona series.. What similarities do they have with the Devil Summoner ?
Plus as a persona fan should it count as a must have ?

This game, as well as the other SMT games, are pretty different from Persona. They all have demon (Persona) fusion and the same skills (Agi, Zio, Bufu, etc.), and modern or futuristic settings, but other than that the characters and stories are different and there are no Social Links in the other games like Persona (Devil Survivor sort of has Social Links though).

Hard to say which other SMT games you'd like but a lot of people like all of the games.

Thank's for that, so in terms of gameplay, they have quite the same as I see (Turn-based strategy) with invocations, elements,etc. But does it have the same as a "high school student" life to decide wether exploring or doing a past-time activity, or is it a time-line story with succeded missions?
