Forums - Nintendo - Edit: 1st Parties vs. 2nd Parties Companies Which games would you prefer?

1st Parties or 2nd Parties, Which do you enjoy?

1st Parties 16 88.89%

2nd Parties 2 11.11%

Total:18

I'm going to make this short and simple, which games do you enjoy the most and why, games going back into the 90's up to modern today, 1st party titles: Metroid Prime, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country Return, Skyward Sword, Super Mario Galaxy, 3D Land, NSMB, etc. or 2nd parties titles (Next Level Games Intelligent Systems etc...) : Super Paper Mario, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Super Mario Striker, Mario Power Tennis, Sticker Star, Mario and Luigi Series, Luigi Mansion: Dark Moon, Fire Emblem: Awakening, etc.

Just for a fun discussion.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

you have duplicate threads. ask for the mods to close one of them

Already took care of it, must have been an error in the forums or something.

No retro is wholly owned by Nintendo. I'm sure they've had gone multi if they could.

then there is an error in the OP's post since he lists retro as second party.

OT:I prefer the Nintendo 1st party that isn't EAD but not really 2nd party.

Talking Monolith,Retro, Intelligent, HAL.

But taking only EAD and 2nd party into question...is more of a Zelda vs Pokemon to me. I'd say for now I still prefer EAD.

I did a few editing to the topic to make it more understandable.

I like the metroid franchise. So I believe retro develops it right?

Doesnt matter to me. A good game is a good game whether it be 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 3billion and a half company
