I'll be getting a new phone later this year. I'm debating over which one (I want a phablet); Xperia Z Pro, Optimus G Pro, Note 3, or Nexus Phablet (assuming they exist / coming to the states)

Seriously, the XZ screen is nothing special. Infact it is the worst screen in flagship phones by a significant margin. The rest of the phone is great though. I was so close to getting one but the screen was mediocre for me.The pricing is also another factor.

I'm really between the Xperia Z and Galaxy S4...

Youtube is not a good place to compare screens, there is too many things involved like the camera etc . Xperia Z also uses software in video mode to overcome the lack of contrast. Apps won't look that rich colorwise. 

Anyway, I am not trying to bash it, pretty much all reviewers said that the screen was OK at best, I've seen one recently and I can confirm that. That is the only shortcoming of the phone, otherwise it was gorgeous. 

I might buy it if it comes to NA.

I wonder what headphones you are using, I still need a headphone amp to get decent sound quality (using Sony MDR-1RNC). It's also my only complaint, can't confirm what someone else said about the screen. It's the most beautiful screen in my opinion. I like the more realistic tone of the colours (Bravia Engine of), it's especially a whole lot better than Samsungs OLED-Screens which are just totally overcoloured. But same as audio, when it comes to screens, it comes down to personal opinion.

So did you get the HTC One? I wanted to know how its camera was cause most of the reviews have been negative for the camera. 

I'm not really familair with sony phones so what does it run on? Is there an app store for sony phones?
