Just a note if anyone is going to buy it / already own it, when you dip the phone in water or wash it, the sound will get distorted a lot, like playing music in a submarine under water, you just have to wait about 50 minutes till it dries out, don't use a hair dryer it won't work, use a vacuum if you cant wait 50 minutes, just don't ruin the phone.

Indeed, very beautiful and high quality phone all around. I specially like the sound experience while using headphones, that ClearAudio+ engine is something. The screen is just pure, no yellow tint, no pink tint, just pure.
I really like it, and wash it every morning :p

I just hope Verizon starts carrying so I can get it when my contract expires (just got iphone 5 so it'll be awhile)

It looks like Sony likes this waterproof and dust proof feature cause I saw an advert for a lower end Xperia model having it as well, so in 2 years, I'm sure Sony and/ or other manufacturers will have an even better phone that's waterproof. 

I have the older version, the Xperia T ("the bond phone") and that's more than good enough as it is. So, Xperia Z is way up there with the best phones, with the improvements that has over the Xperia T.
