Forums - Sales Discussion - The PS3 could very well have turned the corner (in Europe anyway).

PS3 is doing well at last. Good for it. I think ms need a price drop if they are to stay within reach of PS3.

I agree; Europe is definitely the PS3's best market, and it looks to be in pretty healthy shape there. The November price cut has had a lasting effect there, while the results in Japan have been muddled, and the price cut did virtually nothing in America. What I don't agree is that this spells instant doom for the 360, as many see to think. The two consoles should sell at roughly the same rate throughout this year, with PS3 maybe ~10-20% higher overall, which is pretty much what we've been seeing the last couple weeks.

MikeB's comment is hilarious, and entirely expected. It's now Christmas 2008 that will make the difference for the PS3! I was wondering who would be the first to break this out, and when. Very amusing.
