Your post makes no sense because every AMD GCN GPU have 4 vector SIMD per CU (PS4 included).

The VGLeaks are saying the same thing for PS4 and Nextbox GPU... both are GCN based.

Durango GPU have 12 CUs compared to 18 CUs in PS4 GPU... Microsoft says the Durango will match the PS4 power in use efficiency... the 12 CUs will be always close to 100% use and PS4 maybe not... the Data Moves, eSRAM, and other fixed units will help in that fact.

But in raw power the PS4 will be ahead always.

And Specs didn't change in less than a year before the release... sorry.

Sure but you can't just asume that the leaks of the MS dev-kits are the real ones, sure they can't change the specs now but no one is saying they should do it now instead maybe they did it last year when the leaks happened.

The original leaks came out in Feb 2012 right? Thats 14months to date meaning that I could bet a 50% that MS closed down their leaks by different measures(example giving us the false leaks we have coming up right now). Everyone is talking like MS couldn't have changed their platform but the fact is that maybe they did when they leaked those numbers last february.

I understand that you know these are rumors but your comments(not only you) always make it look like you guys know for sure that these rumors are 100% actual, get a grip first and then comment on "rumors".

Come back here in the future to say I was right...

Edge and others sites confirmed the VGLeaks specs... there are no way MS can make huge changes in the project in suck time to 2013 release... now if MS change the date to late 2014 then it is a nother history.

The PS4 specs didn't changed too because there is no way to change it withou change the release date.

DIfference is one is performing 64 threads while the other is doing 32.  As I stated this is what the poster draws his conclusion that the 12 SC or Shared Cores he likes to called it is actually an Array of 4 CU cores instead of just being one CU core.

No. You are reading wrong... the memory mapping is 64bits not 64 threads and each CU have 64 threads.

VGLeaks just use wrong terms.

- as SMID is CU (in vgleak term)

 - each SMID = 64 thread lockstep (Vgleak term) 
 - each CU : 16 Operation /cycle across 4 ALU = 64 ALU per cycle/lockstep

 - in Vgleak term Thread = ALU
 - in vgleak 1 Operation = 4 Thread

I don´t know why people are fighting for.

The only way PS4 to be significtanly more powerfull than the next Xbox is that the PS4 to be significtanly more expencive than the next Xbox.

Well, the 360 was release one year prior to the PS3 and cheaper, however few games have shown that the PS3 was any better.

Sony can´t do magic in the hardware, but Microsoft can do magic int the midware or SO.

But this is the way a lot of PS3 fans think. They base their arguments on the assumption that the PS4 will sell automatically better than the next Xbox if both are the same and priced the same.

As if the 76 million people who bought a 360 would have preferred the PS3 if they only could afford it. You never consider that people bought the 360 over the PS3, just because they like it better.

In fact in 2011 the average pricepoint for a 360 was higher than the average pricepoint for a PS3 in NA according to NPD.

The next Xbox may be less powerful to reduce the costs and price if it will indeed come packed with Kinect 2.0 in as standard.
