Your post makes no sense because every AMD GCN GPU have 4 vector SIMD per CU (PS4 included).

The VGLeaks are saying the same thing for PS4 and Nextbox GPU... both are GCN based.

The diagram shows 4 SIMD per CU in GCN... 16SPs per SIMD... 64SPs per CU... 1152SPs for PS4 and 768SPs for Nextbox.

DIfference is one is performing 64 threads while the other is doing 32.  As I stated this is what the poster draws his conclusion that the 12 SC or Shared Cores he likes to called it is actually an Array of 4 CU cores instead of just being one CU core.
