God of War: ascension because I'm a sucker for god of war. It had to the most fluid combat of the series and pretty awesome boss fight, IMO. I would rate GoW:A between 9-9.5 and TR somewhere between 8.5-9.0.

But, they are two totally different games anyways.

Well I have not played Tomb Raider extensively - only briefly from a friend. But I will say GOW:A, and here's my justification - hack and slash is my favorite genre. I enjoy the action and adventure stuff, but I get a serious zing from fighters and hack and slash games with fighting elements.

Haven't played TR but this comparison is ridiculous lol. The Arkham-Uncharted lovechild vs. cinematic DMC in ancient Greece. I couldn't compare these 2 in a million years. Though TR looks excellent and I will be picking it up eventually. GoW was excellent and got me legitimately interested in a MP aspect for the first time since...LBP2 probably.

Apples and oranges.

GoW is a button masher with pretty graphics while Tomb Raider is an amazing action-adventure game.

I enjoyed GoW:A, but it pales in comparison.

I somehow didn't notice DMC predates GoW. Its clear DMC did inspire the GoW series. And here I thought GoW was original. Silly me.
