offline play alone make the ps3/4 versions the definitive versions..

It's not exclusive. If you're a Live subscriber, you'll be able to play offline :D

jk

have they confirmed a 360/xbox8 port yet?  last i heard was a vague "we aren't nessissarily exclusive playstation" but a refusal to commit to xbox.

I would be surprised if it doesn't. I'd expect this on WiiU, ps3/4 and xbox.

i mean, i agree but i haven't heard anything.  kinda feeling the "timed exclusive" vibe from this one.

Not to go off topic, but when I first saw diablo 3 gameplay, the first thing I thought was WiiU, and secondly ps3. It was apparent from the start that it had been simplified for consoles. WiiU seems like a good fit, and Nintendo could use the support.

Not surprising considering the PC release was terrible. I got the vibe from day one that it was a game designed for consoles but then ported and limited on PC. Removing the auction house instantly makes it better than the PC game.

wiiU could use the support but blizzard doesn't care about that, they aren't a chartity.  based on how many other games are passing on wiiU,.. blizzard is pretty low on the list of developers I expect to work with nintendo.  blizzard has passed on tons of other projects they simply didn't want to do it and diablo III on ps3/4 is surpise enough.  diablo III on wiiU seems really far fetched to me considering the rest of the industry's attitude towards wiiU.

Actually it broke records... but who cares about details like facts.

Records for what? And what do records have to do with anything in my post?

what I mean is that Nintendo might facilitate the move.
D3 could go a long way in showing devs how the wiiU controller can assist gameplay.
You could be right, though.

"considering the PC release was terrible."
Or were you referring to something else?

You're not making any sense. The only "fact" you presented was that the game sold a lot (I assume this is the record you're talking about).

I don't see anywhere in my post that claims it flopped. Hope that helps.
