Gears Of War DLC is priced at 1000MSP and God Of War will be free.

Oh that's just a patch lol. God of War is actually getting big DLC like new maps and modes. The collectors edition included a season pass.

The maps are going to be free. According to the game director.

I bet the new Olympian alliance will be DLC though.

I think God of War will end up selling more lifetime, though not by much (less than 250,000-500,000 overall). At the end of the day, Ascension adds to the story of Kratos and will end up being picked up by most folks who have either played and/or owned a God of War game. It'll also be thrown into a bundle or two somewhere down the road, or another "ultimate collection" which sells in the thousands. 

Gears... I'm just not too sure.

Global - Week ending 20th April, 2013:

God of War: Ascension: 30,076.

Gears of War: Judgment: 29,940.

Sooner than I expected, GoW:A outsold GeoW:J last week (I hope the thread title is updated with this fact like you did when Halo 4 outsold (weekly) GoW:A or GeoW:J passed GoW:A a few weeks back). I think this will continue from now on, Gears of War: Judgment should sell 2.75-3.00m lifetime (no mass bundling expected) and God of War: Ascension should sell 3.25-3.50m (4.00-4.25m if it gets mass bundled with other high profile PS3 exclusives for the holidays this year).

I wonder when Vgchartz will adjust both games US sales? According to NPD numbers shared by NeoGAF user Creamsugar, Gears of War: Judgment is undertracked by 18K and God of War: Ascension is undertracked by 49K.

By the way DLC is going to be announced for God of War: Ascension next week, not a clue what it'll be or if it'll be free.

Update: Huge decrease for both in only a months time.

If anyone told me Luigi's Mansion would end up outselling them I would have flipped them the finger. It's just crazy how fast their sales dropped off...

LOL! Pathetic. When the sales are in Gears' favor you make a point out of it in your title, when God of War: Ascension starts legging it out in front of GeoW:J it's "Huge decrease for both in a month"... Come on, have some integrity. And what do you expect to happen after 1 1/2 months after release during late April? For both games to still be matching their 2nd/3rd week sales every week? Do you not have sufficient brain capacity or analytical skills to understand that sales slow down over time until Black Friday deals, mass bundling starts or holidays come around?

I bet it kills you to see Gears of War: Judgment sales % dropping so much more every week than God of War: Ascension, what are you going to do when GoW:A passes GeoW:J worldwide soon (even sooner when Vgchartz update US numbers), I bet you'd just update the title to 'God of War: Ascension passes Gears of War: Judgment... but it's invalid now because it's still a big drop from God of War III!' or some bullshit like that because you're childish, bitter and insanely bias.

EDIT:  I've stated my disliking of Judgement and refuse to buy it.  Obviously I must be biased towards it *rolls eyes*
