if they manage to pull it off then that will be pretty impressive

I will probably pre-order multiple times then, though if i get more than one i will sell the others at the normal price. Having the PS4 day one is enough profit for me.

PS: Brazil has the higgest taxes in the world, and one of the highest levels of corruption, so, we pay enormous taxes and the government people use it in the wrong way all the time. |
I'm going to ask a friend of mine who will visit new york in november to bring me one.
I refuse to pay over 100% in taxes to the goverment.

Haha yeah, sort of. Anyways, going by the high demand so far it'll be a tricky launch and for me it's probably going to be a bit easier than for you since I'll pre-order it on Amazon and have it delivered by the house of some relatives who live there, and just pick it up on a casual visitation then. But I guess you could order online from somewhere and go get it on a store when it launches, so you can avoid being stuck on a queue for hours, perhaps days, before it launches or face disappointing shortages after a long travel. GameSpot does it AFAIK. |
We will see...This year still has LAST OF US, BEYOND TWO SOULS and GTA V, so, I guess I will be busy with my PS3 till november or early december.

Final Fantasy Versus 13 confirmed as PS4 launch title.

Yeah, I sure hope so. I heard the rumour 100GB but I think that qas before the ps4 announcement.
In reality I don't think it will matter too much, I think more games will be using ingame cutscenes versus pre rendered video which should help avoid the file sizes we've seen in game like Metal Gear and Final Fantasy.
I was a 360 gamer nearly this entire gen and just got a PS3 so my plan is to play all of the PS3 games I missed out on for dirt cheap, then spring 2014, get a PS4. I use to be a launch guy, but with all the hardware problems that we saw this gen, I'm gonna take a wait and see approach. I've got plenty of games to play until then.

Remember that the launch (launch? A 5 years long launch...) problems only happened to X360. The launch PS3s were the best ones ever released, Wii hasn't experienced any problems as well. The same goes for Vita and 3DS... The conclusion is simple - you can buy Sony and Nintendo day 1, cause they go for quality. I wouldn't recommend buying a MS console early on though...
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I've heared that sony is planning on starting production of the ps3 (and maybe ps4) in brasil. That wil bring the cost down a bit.
But i don't know for sure.
