I've been doing that for years. I'm originally from Latin America, and sadly consoles a VERY expensive here. They can be as high as X 5 sometimes. So I often buy a cheap ticket to go to the US and get the console for much less. That way I can get a vacation and get the console for cheap (relatively). It works out because I often buy 2 for my cousin and myslef, or he travels and gets two systems for us each.

Just wondering, what are preorder bonuses for new console launches anyways? Are there even any, was there anything for preordering xbox 360 or ps3 in the past? If there are, what are they usually?

Haha yeah, sort of.

Anyways, going by the high demand so far it'll be a tricky launch and for me it's probably going to be a bit easier than for you since I'll pre-order it on Amazon and have it delivered by the house of some relatives who live there, and just pick it up on a casual visitation then.

But I guess you could order online from somewhere and go get it on a store when it launches, so you can avoid being stuck on a queue for hours, perhaps days, before it launches or face disappointing shortages after a long travel. GameSpot does it AFAIK.

I love your hype :) Hope PS4 sells really well, much better than Wii U does, but I won't be getting it probably until it gets its first redesign and a price cut. I don't like spending too much on consoles, so the only times when I was an early adopter was with the Wii and Vita.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
