I've been doing that for years. I'm originally from Latin America, and sadly consoles a VERY expensive here. They can be as high as X 5 sometimes. So I often buy a cheap ticket to go to the US and get the console for much less. That way I can get a vacation and get the console for cheap (relatively). It works out because I often buy 2 for my cousin and myslef, or he travels and gets two systems for us each.
