Seasons 1-4 blow away anything walking dead has ever done, and it has much deeper characters then twd.

I'm not seeing why this is news. Cancer drug trials on humans start... practically weekly as far as I know.

NIH funds alot of the research, fortunately.. I would worry about pharmaceutical company not allowing for a cure you are just being paranoid. There no shortage of cancers to treat

I did read it.  These cancer studies always have some smart sounding way or technqiue to cure cancer, you couldn't get to this stage without it. 

Drugs are nothing to get excited about until they pass at least their first couple of rounds of human testing.  The same things have been promised before with different methods.
