Software is looking better than the fucking nothing it was getting before, but it is still toast outside of Japan. But the PS3 is awesome and seems to be the only console that hasn't been left for dead by the company behind it, so that pretty much explains that.

that's what I've noticed. PS3 in it's last calender year as the lead platform gets PSallstars, Sly, NiNoKuni, GoW, LoU, Puppeteer, Rain, and Beyond while 360 gets Halo 4, Gears, and Forza. Wii got Xenoblade and SS in holiday 2011, but not much else (a kirby game I think?). The near legacy support from Sony is above and Beyond (pun intended) the competition it would seem. Though given that they're still selling PS2 I guess no one should be surprised.
