I'm SUPER hyped for The Man of Steel! Superman has been my favorite superhero since I was little and watched the Christopher Reeves films. Superman defines what we should all strive to be. He is not perfect and he makes mistakes, but he does what he believes is right and he cares about others more than himself.

I think it's about time for another superman movie, when was the last one anyways and should be really good since zack synder is directing while Chrisotopher Nolan is producing.

I agree. Superman Returns was ok. It was better than half of the Christopher Reeves originals. I'm hoping that Man of Steel does for Superman what the Dark Knight movies did for Batman. I don't want it to be dark and gritty like the Dark Knight, but I want Man of Steel to bring Superman into the modern film era. Superman deserves a mature, complexe and multi-layered film. That's what it looks like we will get and I can't wait to see it. I'm more excited for The Man of Steel than for Iron Man and I love those movies.

Yup agreed man of steel is definitely my most anticipated superhero movie this year. By the trailers it is looking really good. I see they are also tackling the issue of an alien like hero in the film and how the world reacts to him too which I think is cool.

One comic character to rule them all:

Too right.

Shit, the website seems to be glitching. In your quote Spawn looks like a total clown.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I have zero interest in Superman.

Looking forward to the next Avengers, though, as the villain is one of my favorites. The next Iron Man also has a very interesting villain with the Mandarin. I thought he was really strange and different when I was a kid.

What I really want is a real Dr. Doom movie, not that horrible fail from the Fantastic Four travesty. He's one of the best characters ever created, bad or good. He might be arrogant and self-serving but he has the willpower of a god. You look at a lot of other characters and they're big-time because of their powers or because they're wealthy--Doom is at the top of the food chain simply because of his superhuman drive. He came from nothing. That, to me, makes him even more bad-ass than if he had laser vision or something.

My favorite character? Illyana Nikolievna Rasputina--Magik, sometimes of the X-Men. She was introduced in my first X-Men comic, back when it was not stupid, and I loved her story and abilities. God, I miss Claremont. Now she's just another misused character lost the nonsensical morass of the "X-universe".

Speaking of villains, I think making a movie from a villains perspective or as the main character would be pretty interesting. I haven't really seen any,  not anti-hero, but straight up villains.
