What I really want is a real Dr. Doom movie, not that horrible fail from the Fantastic Four travesty. He's one of the best characters ever created, bad or good. He might be arrogant and self-serving but he has the willpower of a god. You look at a lot of other characters and they're big-time because of their powers or because they're wealthy--Doom is at the top of the food chain simply because of his superhuman drive. He came from nothing. That, to me, makes him even more bad-ass than if he had laser vision or something. My favorite character? Illyana Nikolievna Rasputina--Magik, sometimes of the X-Men. She was introduced in my first X-Men comic, back when it was not stupid, and I loved her story and abilities. God, I miss Claremont. Now she's just another misused character lost the nonsensical morass of the "X-universe". |
Speaking of villains, I think making a movie from a villains perspective or as the main character would be pretty interesting. I haven't really seen any, not anti-hero, but straight up villains.
