True, I was referring to the peeps who argue about pixels not strategy and fun.

Hold on.  I hope you're not saying people play games like GT or Forza because of how they look?

No, I'm saying people argue over them based on looks. People play them because they like simulation racing games.

I'm not really into race sims, and Project Cars has very little from my attention, but dat 'Midnight City'

Isn't that night race unrealistic, with such low lights, wouldn't it be quite dangerous?

It's coming to the WiiU. Can't imagine it won't be coming to the next PlayStation/Xbox consoles at some point. And to answer, no, absolutely not. If Forza couldn't bring GT down, this definitely won't. In the case of going head-to-head with Microsoft's racer, nope, won't "slay" that either.

If it can be done on WiiU, it can be done on Xbox360 and PS3, and, for that matter, even in VITA. No disrespect to WiiU, I am saying this only because of the superior CPU on the HD twins, and overall, because you cant port it to everything as long as you adapt it to run on the system.

In that case, http://www.iracing.com/ is prolly currently the best one, if you are serious enough lol.

Slayer? No.

It does look very pretty, though there is a LOT more to a racing sim than looks. We'll just have to wait and see in regards to the important bits. All the polish in the world doesn't mean anything went you're trying to go last-to-first at Nurburgring or Laguna Seca.

Also, why the melancholy 80's music? Killed any feelings of excitement. It makes you want to look at it but not play it.

The song is a couple of years old, and it's one of the best things that humanity has created in the last years. I'm serious.

Hopefully Nintendo buys exclusivity and then we get a 3way argument!

It is on PC you know, or do you mean console exclusivity?

OT: Epic song choice. @Pokoko: This isn't 80s music o.O

Yep. That's what I meant.

Of course, but there wa no argument there, since it's widely known that it's confirmed for current gen machines.

Yes, you are right. this new game is another contender on the genre, of course, but it is kinda early to know what kind of impact it will cause.

Forza and GT are both different than one another and are respected as great games in there own ways. The only reason people argue is because they are on different consoles. Forza does some things better than GT and GT does some things better than forza. Just like Forza had to gain respect the same will be said to project cars.

What if it's better than both overall and is multi-platform though? What kind of reaction would people have to it? Do you think it'd become a popular franchiase that'd top the 2 combined?

If it is better than both then that is a different story.  Both are of high quality so that will be hard to do.  It's possible though.
