| Subie_Greg said: We've heard the rumors of what Microsoft is doing this coming gen. Heavy casual push and kinect with every purchase. Seems like they are trying to duplicate the Wii success. With the Wii U not selling as expected, I wonder if Microsoft is rethinking their plans. And it looks as though the PS4 will be far more powerful than the NextBox... not a little but a lot. Makes sense though if you think about it. Microsoft has to price the NextBox at or lower than the PS4. They can't match the PS4 spec wise, plus add kinect with every console and hope to price it on par with Sony's console. Not without losing a butt ton of money. Guess they could sell it at $300 with 2 year contract :( I am sure Halo and COD fans will still buy it. But if Sony offers the PS4 at/around the same price... ouch |
Point 1: Kinect will attract more customers than it will deter.
Point 2: PS4 comes with PS Eye as well
Point 3: According to the rumors the PS4 will be more powerful, but the gap will be even smaller than the one between PS3 and 360
Point 4: MS actually has the financial resources to sell the console at a loss. Sony doesn't. IF MS decides to sell the console for $299 while the PS4 is $399 and both offer more or less the same... ouch.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
