Another impressive thing in PS4 demo... the demo is REAL TIME... not only a VIDEO like the PC version (that is why you noted the fps drop in PS4 and not in PC).

"While the PS4 version trailer (even not optimized and using old hardware) on PS4 was clearly real time (Mark Cerny was fiddling with it using the touchpad), the inititial trailer version was just "A VIDEO". When you get it running in REALITY, it also has less details than the initial "TARGET" video:"

It is impressive but not that impressive... well I was more impressive with the Deep Down Demo than the Elemental but the jump in quality from both are massive.

yes i'm sure the captured pc video did never run on a pc in real time and was only a cgi video. really?

It was a target video recorded from the Demo before the presentation running in a PC with Core i7, GTX 680 and 16GB DDR3... target video didn't show inconstants fps or anything else.

The PS4 demo was running in Real Time and Mark Cerny showed that controlling some parts of the demo with the touchpad of the DualShock 4.

Just saw your edit when I was starting a post to clarify things.

Been lurking here since like february 2012 cause it was the only place where I could check sales of Resistance 3, after some informations on other gaming sites saying it floped. Stayed after although without registering. It's weird because I know a good bit about a lot of users here and they don't know that I exist :P 

But my lurking is no exception I think, a lot of users started as lurkers.

I participated in three of Aldros shoutbox sessions i hope it's not bannable :P

What part of TARGET VIDEO you didn't understand?

The Demo exists and DevKit for the Unreal Engine 4 too but the video showed was prerecorded before... you can run a Demo in 30fps and record it to be showed in 60fps... you can give high assets and run the Demo in 20fps to be showed in 30fps because you have more time to record the video.

nope, from what i've seen i'm far more impressed with frostbite and FOX.

I agree... it is more impressive than Frostbite but I can't say about the Fox because there are things better in the UE4 demo and thinkgs better in FOX Engine Demo.
