Hi i am looking to et a new led tv very soon to replace my old tv that just died. Would loe same recomendations to bst choice since i am primerly using it for gaming and blu-ray.

Samsung, Samsung, Samsung.... OH and Samsung. I got a samsung HD from 7 years ago. Still works. Just this past year I bought a 40" 120hz LED 3D Samsung tv for Black friday for $497 just for my gaming room. However I own a 55" 240hz 3D LED samsung Smart TV in the living room, which is over a year old in the living room and my old 40" is in the bedroom.  Best buy is having some amazing deals lately. Not sure if there over but I would check their. They had a deal for 55" 120hz led samsung With a free 26" LED for $1000 bucks.

However I am very picky about tv's and only Samsung makes the quality I'm looking for.

Oh if you go to best buy ask for their ad. The employee's sometimes don't know about deals. the ad always has cheaper deals.

oh sorry forgot to add more info^^;

around 46", 400hz , smaart tv with wifi, 3D

I would go for Cinema 3D. LG LA series bezelless design with Dual Core CPU. LA6900 LA7600 LA8600 or  Google TVs like GA6400 GA7900 depending on budget. In 47/55/60 inch sizes.

An unfortunate side effect of narrowing our TVs is the audio suffers. Sound and Picture are equally important imo, but if your hooking up to a sound system you'll be fine. Not too sure on sound bars.

Get a Samsung 55 inch UE55 something. Or an LG 55 inch. Dont look further than those two imo.

I recently got a 42" 200hz 3D LED tv from LG, which is awesome. It's not a smart tv, which they seem to be really pushing down people's throats nowadays, but I don't need that kind of functionality. It was pretty cheap in comparison, too. It's perfect for me, and movies and games look fabulous on it. The sound's pretty good as well, though I have it hooked up to an external sound system anyway.
