Forums - Gaming - new GTA5 screenshots - can current gen consoles really pull these off?

Of course they can, at around 15 frames per second and without all the Photoshop editing.

Well makes sense if they have to develop it on computers first anyways. but i agree there is way too much AA and distance for this to be current gen. its got to have more digital throw up as i like to call pixelated old tech look.

Not exactly lol

Next gen consoles: Wii U, PS4, 720 and PC yes. There been rumors that Rockstar may be taking the game over to next gen consoles. Still surprise a PC version haven't been announced yet.

Didn't Rockstar confirm that PC isn't coming? At least not on time with PS3/360 releases. A Wii U version is unlikely as well for obvious reasons. I'll give you Battlefield 4 as an example.

if you have a high end computer it ruins you and games on current gen vs computer. digital throw up is the best way to describe it.

GTA4 looked amazing in 2008. This is 5 years later so I'm curious to see how much more Rockstar can get out of these machines.

Screenshots always look more amazing than the game in motion. But I do anticipate GTA5 being one of the most visually impressive games of the 7th gen.

I think its entirely possible for them to pull these off on Ps3 and 360. You have to remember, this is Rockstar we're talking about.

I wouldn't put anything related to EA as an example when it comes to a game not being on WiiU. Those people are still butt-hurt. And they're childish.
