Would prefer a new IP, and then have a new GoW game after 3 or 4 years :]

They dont want to make portable games anymore.  The company has big  objectives.  They are developing nextgen stuff, so hopefully it is GOW4.

mmm...maybe they have 2 teams? If not, SSM will make GOW4, and it should launch around 2015-2016.   If that is the escenario, hopefully they will add a lot more elements to the game, and not just refine the core elements of GOW.  I love GOW:Ascension, but I think that considering it will be a new trilogy, they new need to revolutionize the action game genre, as much as the first GOW did in 2005, while maintaining what makes GOW game a GOW game, which is Epicness, brutality and awesomness lol XD

Now I think of it, I would much prefer them to work on Heavenly Sword 2. Nariko >>> Kratos.

Completely agree. Its argurable whether God of War Ascension was necessary at all.

They really shouldve given it a rest after God of War 3. The novelty wore off, they could've done multiplayer DLC or what not, another game was unecessary.

you really wanna see that?   I mean isn't it gonna be kinda anti-climactic since he's killed the biggest baddy in greek mythology?  What is he gonna need revenge on another mythology or is Typhoon gonna be the badguy?  Kinda feels like they've overdone Greek and Kratos.

I bet they will still work around greek mythos because apollo was mentioned too much in Ascension, and he was not killed in GOW3.   In the end lets just wait for SSM to say show what they have, when they are ready.   I bet that if it is greek, persian, or whatever mythology they will surprise us with the game.
