Does this mean that the content I am going to be purchasing from the PS4 is not going to be Sony approved? If thats the case, i dont like it. One of the main attractions about consoles is that for the most part you are not subjected to complete 100% rubbish.

Nuh uh.

"The challenge is that there needs to be certification. If it ties into our storefront, or any of the backend technologies, we have to verify. There actually is a propping process where we have to push it to the store, and stuff like that -- there are always going to be a couple steps we have to do."

If you get it from the PS Store then it's going to be certified.  They're just trying to streamline that, make it easier, faster, and less frustrating and expensive for developers.  Jon Blow said he was told that the certification process would be "somewhere between iPhone and the PS3".

I don't think it means there's no quality control, just that you don't have to have Sony (or SCEA, at least, since that's where Boyes works) approve of your game's concept. There have been times, particularly during the PS2 days, when they rejected a lot of good stuff just... because. They used to reject any 2D game out of hand, and we didn't get a lot of cool shit like Gregory Horror Show in the US because of their bullshit policies.

At GDC Sony hosted an Indie Arcade showcasing the available titles coming to Sony platforms. The list is impressive.

- Blacklight: Retribution – PlayStation 4
- Primal Carnage: Genesis – PlayStation 4
- Ibb & Obb – PlayStation 3
- Rain – PlayStation 3
- Sportsfriends (including Johann Sebastian Joust, BaraBariBall, Hokra and Super Pole Riders) – PlayStation 3
- Divekick – PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
- Dragon Fantasy Book II – PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
- Guacamelee! – PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
- Hotline Miami – PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
- Luftrausers – PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
- Spelunky – PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
- Thomas Was Alone – PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
- Friend Network App – PlayStation Vita
- Limbo – PlayStation Vita
- Metrico – PlayStation Vita
- Velocity Ultra – PlayStation Vita
- A Virus Named Tom – PlayStation Mobile
- Beatdown in Treachery City – PlayStation Mobile
- Crumble – PlayStation Mobile
- Crystallon – PlayStation Mobile
- Don’t Wake the Bear – PlayStation Mobile
- Hermit Crab in Space! – PlayStation Mobile
- Oh, Deer! – PlayStation Mobile
- Rymndkapsel – PlayStation Mobile
- Ten By Eight – PlayStation Mobile

Rain is indie? It is Sony Japan.

Maybe they list it as such because it's a Playstation CAMP game like Tokyo Jungle. It's a program for up and coming indie devs to get support from SCEJ.

Why is the PC Store important? I don't understand the significance of that? Just to expose more people to content?

It's just my opinion of course, but the PC Store makes it super convenient and easy to search for and buy games.  You can do it from anywhere, at any time, not just infront of your console.  I've already used it to buy everything over the last month, including adding PS+ games to my download list.  If I'm reading the forums and someone says, "hey, Mutant Cow Beasts From Hell is an awesome game," I can just go and buy it right then in a matter of seconds while it's on my mind, and with the ease of a mouse rather than a controller.

It's Playstation C.A.M.P., which is a program where anyone at all can pitch game ideas to Sony.  It also has Acquire as a partner, it seems.  I don't know the story behind the production, but it could very well be an "indie" title, just with a lot of help from Sony.

Shit's got more real than reality.

I like the "pillars" part, Sony seems to be pushing for Indies to adapt their games to the special capabilities of the platforms so that they not only take advantage of them, but promote those features and maybe almost effortlessly creating exclusives. lol Unless they create ports to other platforms without the usage of said features.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Basically. It's similar to how games like Flower and Journey and Unfinished Swan are still "indie" games despite being made at Sony Santa Monica with a lot of help.

You can, but you have to manually copy and paste the quote blocks.

And he has risen from lowly wrestler to a beautiful princess. You should be happy for him!
