Funny is that, when this game was on PSP, few people complained about the lack of a second analog stick, since most were praising how good the game was. Now that the game is on the 3DS, everyone started complaining about it, even if there is a possibility to use a second analog stick.

Not sure who you were talking to. Almost everyone complained about a lack of a second stick and "the claw." There was not a viable alternative as there was no system or add on that would give the same feature set (portability, graphics, etc.) and two analog sticks, so most people complained, but had to just "suck it up."
People now have to "suck it up" (due to business reasons, not technological ones) and buy the CPP to get MH with 2 sticks. Or buy Soul Sacrifice.
| EncodedNybble said: Now, does it "need" the second stick support, that's up for debate. I haven't played it, but, assuming that it controls anything like the PSP versions, I would argue that yes, a second stick is almost a necessity (if nothing else, to prevent hand cramps). |
It doesn't. Well, it does, but the camera doesn't.
For starters, the L-button now centers the camera beind the player, a function the PSP versions lacked. Or if you lock onto a big monster by tapping its icon on the touch screen (an easy reach for your right thumb), the L-button will focus the camera on said monster, while centering the camera behind the player becomes a double-tap of the L-button.
The other addition is the virtual D-pad on the touch screen -- again, an easy reach for your right thumb. It's not perfect, but it hasn't been a problem for me, either. It certainly works better and is more comfortable than the claw.

Since no one else is saying it, I'll be the one to break the news to you. They cancelled the power grip pro for "unknown" reasons.

Hum... No. He's stating his honest opinion just like anyone else. But it doesn't align with yours, I presume.

I wouldn't be saying this if he didn't have a history of running his mouth. Sure we've all got opinions, but some are better at expressing them than others.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I remember Epic once said they "didn't love" the 3DS or something like that, and several other have expressed their opinions in a more professional way. Phil Fish sounded like a little kid making a rant about not liking his new toy.
He can play on Wii U in HD and with a classic controller. No problem.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. I'm glad we can get these honest uncensored opinion from indie developers. If he really fells like this, maybe he should make a Vita game? Just a thought.
