Eh. After 5-6 any chance of making dexter interesting again was gone. Season 7 trys to go in a good direction early on in the season but it falls apart.

I disagree.  It was just as good as season 1 and 2, imo.  Season 7 was much needed and was a great direction for the show.  But, to each his own.

I finally finished watching Season 7 and I'm a little torn because I really don't like what Dexter inflicts on Deb throughout the season. Deb was a damn good cop but everything's gone to hell because of Dex. I was actually rooting for Laguerta as the season progressed, I wanted her to catch Dexter.

The ending was shocking and I'm not sure it makes any sense for Deb to do what she did.

I just watched the sneak peak and Deb summed up my feelings perfectly: Dexter made her comprised all her ethics, all she was and she hates him for that and so do I.
