I saved everyone but didn't save Mordin until I had a playthrough specifically designed for him just because a voice like that should never be silenced!

More proof of gamers' distaste for female protagonists :/

The majority of the women I know who played through the Mass Effect series liked playing as Maleshep more than Femshep

That 3.8% of people shooting Mordin is disturbing, it should be 0%. And poor Kaidan, nobody loves him xD

played as female shepard vanguard  on insanity first play through enemies shitted their pants to my dominance

i agree with this very much i prefer female shepards voice actor tremendlously more than male shepards her voice acting is just much more well done and you can feel the emotion in her speech more effectively

I don't agree. Badgenome made a good point about it being the default option. However Mass Effect is a sci fi fantasy RPG. So the biotics and tech powers are what seperates from your standard "real world" setting. That's part of the draw of universe. Shepard is supposed to be the best humanity has to offer. You'd think he'd be biotic given their rarity among non asari races.

I agree. In a fantasy setting. Power make things more interesting. At least in ME1, the Soldier class seemed a bit more interesting. I was the only class tha could specialize with any gun. Between the immunity skill, and shield augmenting armor mods, it was also the most durable.

As far as voice acting goes, I prefer Jennifer Hale as well. However Mark Meer is actually a great voice actor. I don't blame him. I blame the voice direction. You'd be suprised at how many voice Meer does through the series. Or even in the Dragon Age franchise. He does the Vorcha in ME, he did the "awakened" Darkspawn in Dragon Age Awakening, he did Jethann in Dragon Age 2. He's actually very talented.

Oooh I didn't know you could shoot Mordin. Though I recall filling Legion's back with a few bullets. These scenes were you have to turn on your squadmates are the most striking renegade moments to me.

I wonder why they didn't give some estimate on the percentage of players pissed off with the ending anyways... :P

We know why there is no ending data. They've been claiming that it was small vocal minority that disliked the endings this whole time. They wouldn't want to show they were full of it now would they? We all know there is no way EA would release free DLC to "fix" something that pissed off a small amount of fans.
