Why did you stop at $200-$250 in the poll? For me it would have to go below $200, probably around $150 even. The hardware might be worth more but i already now the Wii-U would be a second or extra system next to a PS4 or new Xbox.

I would never buy one,but if  I would I'd do like what I did with Gamecube,
wait till the Gen is over, buy the console and its games dirt cheap!

The way I see it a lot of people don't think the wii u is worth the current price.

What many people see, read and hear about the wii u is that the console is either on par with, not much more powerful than or not as powerful as the current HD consoles.

It also cost more money than the HD consoles do (this is debatable as of recently).
No matter how you doll it up, dropping the price of anything after three months is not a good sign.

On Amazon UK for example you can now get a basic for £199 and a Prem for £249. Down £50 in three months.
It's still not flying of the shelves.

How bad would it be if the price a "next gen" console falls beneath that of consoles over seven years old.
I don't want Nintendo to drop the price. I want (or wanted) Nintendo to use a steady supply of their big games to sell the freakin' console.

Just for the record I got me a brand new unopened Premium for £203 on ebay. I was indeed willing to pay £300 for the wii u Prem in December or January. I just didn't get around to it then, there was no rush.
There were no games I really wanted then. Come to think of it there still isn't any games I really want now. It was too good a deal to let pass by.
