So VGCHARTZ stops tracking hardwares?

GOW did better than I imagined in the USA. UK numbers in the other hand are very poor.

nice to see "the walking dead" selling a decent amount from week to week even when it was already available as download months before.

You thought a bigger drop than 40%?

Was there a prediction thread?

There was a prediction thread for GOW:A, TLoU and Beyond:Two souls.

I predicted GOW Ascencion would only sell half of what GOWIII did,

wow the most surprising thing for me is that Saga has sold 272,000 units. Of course this week some were those bundles for the red PS3 with GoW Ascension but still impressive considering they already had the collections released with high sales this gen. I'd say the GoW re-releases show the quality of the game in that people are willing to pay for an HD update with trophies and that that strategy can be used effectively to build a game's userbase by allowing newcomers to catch up on the series as GoW3 saw more sales than the previous 2.

I expected worse for God Of War really, the hypes definitely down compared to GoW3, should still reach 2 million lifetime though :)

I'm guessing Gears will see the same kind of drop compared to Gears 3 as well, which aren't bad sales considering they are both prequels.

Good holds for Tomb Raider and Sim City too :)

I guess it is an all right start from God of War, but certainly not great compared to previous games. Hopefully this will convince Sony to move on from Kratos....

Nah, I don't think Kratos is the problem. It's the fact that it wasn't God of War IV. A next gen game in the series sjhould certainly perform better. Plus, we need to see how it holds.

it's basically like GoW2 since it's coming at the end of the lifecycle.  I expect it to leg it out to 3.5-4m.  It might be bundled this holiday.

Yep, end of gen too. I think the only one of Sony's games this year that will have a big opening and sustained life is The Last Of Us. 3EYOND will do a moderate 1 mill, but not much outside of that.

unless they also release it on PS4, i think then it will have some good sales

I doubt they will do a PS4 release for any of the mentioned titles.

i honestly think a PS4 version of Beyond is possible. the game is releasing really near the PS4 launch, quantic dream already made a new engine for this game so its only logical they made the engine compatible for PS4 as well. would it be to crazy to think they been developing for ps4 alongside the ps3?
