He was talking about his opinion on why God of War Ascension sales were lower than GoW3. His initial post WAS about the charts until people began attacking his opinion and then furthering it into what it has become now.

I don't see anything wrong in what he did, but that's just me.

Thank you! There was nothing hateful or demeaning in any of my posts, just trying to logically discuss an opinion based on the sales. Which is the topic of the thread.

Global numbers are up.

More of the same for the Wii U; Vita numbers softening in Japan and still ass in the West.

That was a pretty steep drop off for Ascension compared to 3, considering that both were on the market for the same amount of time in both the US and Europe. So much for people thinking it might sell less being "delusional".

Wii U launch = 3DS launch. There's going to be a deep price cut necessary sooner than Nintendo would like.

In this case, I wouldn't take anything regarding its sales as concrete. Bear in mind the game had bundles, which doesn't seem to be reflected in the hardware at all.

Wouldn't it still have been a big drop even if ALL the PS3's sold this week were the GOW bundles? Granted, considering the sales accuracy around here lately, I can understand being skeptical. :p

It'd be nice if Sony puts out sales numbers themselves like SE did for Tomb Raider and Blizzard did for the Starcraft expansion.

I wish this thread hadn't been derailed quite so much. Oh well.

I think Wii-U & Vita are back to being undertracked in the USA. Vita was averaging 8k/week through February and we had it at ~5k a week, now we're tracking it at 5k a week again. Of course, it may simply just be at that level, but given previous knowledge, it seem unlikely. I wonder why their method of tracking hasn't changed after NPD.

Otherwise, kind of a boring week really. Numbers for God of War seem decent and an easy ~ 2m seller, but I wonder how much more than that it will see.
