Forums - Nintendo - Eurogamer: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut (exclusive) for Wii U. Boss battles fixed, graphics improved.

Another shite decision from that twat Ian Livingstone. Whilst it's great to see a developer making an effort this game won't do well at all.

So in the world of today a game can be considered great by many despite having boss fights so bad that the team which made most of the game admits they were bad.

That's like 1 percent of the game. I beat like 2 of the bosses in under a minute. Mario 64's considered great despite having aweful camera that affects all of the game. The earlier resident evils are considered great despite aweful combat and dialogue, etc

Plus how bad it is is exaggerated, they're just like an armored not boss and there's only 3.

Those games have problems because they are early 3D games, meanwhile boss fights appeared over 20 years ago. Plus I never considered a Resident Evil game before 4 to be great, and never played Mario 64.

Pedneault insists these improvements wouldn't be possible on Xbox 360 simply because there's not enough disc space available. Neither, Dugas says, would the anti-aliasing, which wasn't present in the other console versions but is in the Wii U version.

"It's more powerful on the Wii U," Dugas says. "Even some of the graphics that were improved already on the 360 for The Missing Link, we were able to go a little bit farther with the Wii U, just because of the hardware. In terms of the shadows, which are smoothed out, it's much different than the Xbox version."

...

But, but... everyone knows t3h WiiU haz no grafix 'cos it haz no powah!1

Seriously though, hopefully this will shut some people up?

Good to hear some devs actually make an effort.

Trolls will never shut up. The Wii U could get a Zelda game that looks better than The Last of Us and God of War Ascension, and a Metroid game that  looks better than Halo 4, and they'd still say it's weaker than PS360.

That 'cos Zelda and Metroid are kiddie Nintendo franchises, not hawdc0re IPs!
