Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay...

I don't have this game yet, and I just watched Pitch Black the other night and I noticed that they mention this game in Game Informer magazine all the time.

Is it any good?

Is there are Pitch Black game? If so, what console and was it any good?

I heard they were making a sequel to Butcher Bay on 360...

No there isn't a game on pitch black, in fact this riddick is meant as another story on top of the movies, not based on the movies itself I think.

Just to note, riddick doesn't work on the 360, only on the xbox or PC. There is another riddick on the way, it is however a remake with expansion for the 360/ps3 and not a sequel.

Escape from Butcher Bay is well worth playing. Think Splinter Cell, but with the Riddick attitude. I think the story takes place after Pitch Black and before The Chronicles of Riddick movie, but don't quote me on that one.

Butcher bay takes place before Pitch Black, as it explains how he got his 'eye shine'. It also has Johns in it, who dies in the movie. Its also worth watching Dark Fury, which takes place between Pitch Black and Chronicles. As far as a sequel goes, from what I gather they are remaking Butcher Bay, and adding to it in the form of Assault on Dark Athena.

when this game came out it quickly became one of my favorite games on the the xbox. I actually remember my friends thinking i was crazy for thinking this game was better than halo 1.

Not to be a Riddick geek, but theres no such thing as an "Eye Shine". He made that story up in Pitch Black, ( and you find out its a lie in Chronicles.)

And yes, ive played it both on PC and Xbox. Was a great looking game for its time on xbox. Kind of a sleeper hit, one people didnt really pay attention to. Its pretty fun actually, being able to sneak up on people and shank them and what not, pretty good story to it as well. If you can find it (for PC is should be cheap as hell right now, even Xbox, if u got an original xbox, should be no more then 10 bucks) its a worthy game to play.

I love the game - and it's one of the few reasons I still have my Xbox ...
