If you enjoyed perks of being a wall flower you should also check out Speak

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Around the Network

I have the book. Bought it several years ago. Never finished it because it started staining my fingertips. The angst was bleeding out the pages, making it slippery to hold. I put it aside until I could pick up some gloves but I never got back to it. I just wasn't in a mood where I wanted to read that kind of thing. Dunno about the movie, though.

Thank god there was a thread so I didn't have to make one and get all the attention x'D

I watched this because I was looking at some good movies I had not seen made in the recent 2010-present, so I checked IMDBs top 250 list and this like barely made it. So I read about the plot and it felt pretty compelling. Lonely in high school? All right, why not. The overall feeling that the main character portrays is something I can somewhat relate to. Not necessarily because I felt lonely in that regard but it's a thought I believe one has at some point or hell several points. I've had them and I still do from time to time. Probably why I also felt strongly about Nathan Drake and his fear of being alone in Uncharted 3 :'D.

Anyhow => As the movie progresses, you start to sympthize with the character and by the end of it: The character is just that. A character. It goes from relating to sympathizing to caring.

And yeah, you really really care for him and the interaction between him along with the INSANELY well performances put up by Emma Watson and Ezra Miller is the core of the movie.

I liked the guy who played the main character but Emma and in particular Ezra just knocked it out of the park. I didn't even know who Ezra was before I saw this movie but god damn he sold the character brilliantly. Needless to say: I hope we'll see more of him as an actor. I also seem to be able to take Emma Watson more seriously now since really only had Harry Potter in mind prior to this. Seeing her develop feelings with the main character was rather great.

Go watch this movie. Some of the moments will stick with me for quite some time.

“We accept the love we think we deserve."

...“And In That Moment I Swear We Were Infinite”

Go watch this shit :>

The only reason I'll watch "The Bling Ring"

Emma Watson never was hotter than in this movie^^

(Y) Agreed. Great movie. Although I will say I thought the main character actor was a bit more believable than Emma, although she was as well.

Oh yeah. To be able to actually care for him required a rather stellar performance and he did it very well.

Also really liked Paul Rudd as his English teacher xD
